She-Ra Princess of Power is the animated spinoff of the wildly popular He-Man series from Filmation Associates and Mattel. The show follows the adventures of She-Ra, He-Man's twin sister, leader of the Great Rebellion in her efforts to free her homeworld of Etheria against Hordak and the Evil Horde. She-Ra made her first appearance in the full length story He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword. This animated series premiered in 1985 and ran for a total of two seasons (ninety-three episodes).
