Sgt. Frog is an anime series that began airing in 2004 and is based on a manga of the same name. Sergeant Keroro is the leader of a platoon of frog creatures who are constantly attempting to overthrow the Earth. Sergeant Keroro, however, is captured by the Hinata family on Earth and is forced to do household chores and tasks. The entire platoon of creatures is totally useless, and Sergeant Keroro even more so. Instead of trying to conquer the world, Keroro builds Gundam models and surfs the internet all day long. Sergeant Keroro's second in command, Corporal Giroro is not a fan of Keroro's lazy actions and failures to take over the planet as he is a consummate professional in all aspects of his life.
