In an attempt to tie her shoelaces, Olena Octopus tied herself in a giant knot, putting her and Winston Whale at risk of missing a birthday party. The Save-Ums help to free Olena of her bind, and her discouragement. They show her that tying your shoes is fun, when you do it with a friend! Tina and Oscar Monkey are giving Raymundo and Peque Ant a ride in their toy car, when the remote control suddenly stops working. They depend on the Save-Ums to help figure out a way to stop the car before it reaches the top of a steaming volcano (and before little Peque throws up!). The Save-Ums realize they need to replace the batteries in the remote control, and the ants are saved - just in the nick of time![EDIT]
