Satisfaction was an Australian television series drama that pushed the limits of what could be shown on TV when it was airing. It ran for only three seasons, ending in December 2010. It was created by Roger Simpson, Andy Walker and Kim Vecera. 'Satisfaction' was produced by 'Lone Hand Productions' for Showtime Australia. It was filmed in Melbourne. It revolves around the workers of the upscale brothel known as '232.' The main characters are five high class escorts and their manager. The show follows their attempts to straighten up their lives while dealing with the various array of needy, sad and strange customers they have to 'attend' to at the brothel. In the first season the escort Mel entertains a pompous rock star, while others ponder conception and failing marriages. The show garnered highly positive reviews from Australian critics and received numerous award nominations throughout its three season run.MORE
