Rules of Engagement

The Rules of Engagement is a CBS sitcom about two couples, newly engaged Adam Rhodes (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer Morgan (Bianca Kajilich), longtime married couple Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey Bingham (Megyn Price) and their single friend Russell Dunbar (David Spade). Together, the five friends navigate relationships at different stages. Jeff and Audrey try to keep their marriage interesting, as they are still in love but have also learned to ignore each other’s less desirable qualities. Adam and Jennifer prepare to take the plunge after a hasty engagement, and Adam realizes which of his freedoms he may lose, balancing that with his love for Jennifer. Meanwhile, 40-year-old bachelor Russell is happy to work his way through the dating scene, sometimes ridiculing his friends in their committed states, though it might be out of jealousy. Although they are all in different points in their relationships, their problems often end up being relatable, and they support each other through the various ups and downs.
