Rodney was an ABC sitcom that aired for only two seasons, lasting from 2004 to 2006. It starred the stand up comedian Rodney Carrington as Rodney Hamilton, a regular Joe family man living in Tulsa, Oklahama who works a dull job at a fiberglass plant and wishes to become a stand up comedian. Rodney lives with his wife Trina (played by Jennifer Aspen) and his sons Jack and Bo (Oliver Davis and Matthew Josten). Rodney's best friend is Barry Martin (Nick Searcy), a man who is always trying to get away from his wife Genie. Barry's sister in law Charlie (played by Amy Pietz) also comes into play, along with police officer Bob (Jon Reep), who has a relationship with Charlie. The real Rodney was born on October 19th, 1968 in Longview, Texas. He has released six major studio albums of country songs and comedy.
