Rocko's Modern Life

Rocko’s Modern Life is an animated series that is part of Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons, along with Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold!, Doug, and Rugrats, among others. The show follows the adventures of Rocko, a wallaby who has moved to O-Town, an American town, from his native Australia. In O-town, a town that is an example of a small town taken over by generic corporations, the characters he meets try to teach him how to be a good friend. His best friend is Heffer Wolfe, a steer who is fat and enthusiastic and was raised by wolves, and his other best friend is Filbert Turtle, who is a contrast to Heffer with his neuroses and hypochondria. Rocko has a dog named Spunky who isn’t very bright and often causes trouble with next-door neighbor Ed Bighead, a toad who lives next door and dislikes Rocko and his friends. Another reason Mr. Bighead isn’t a fan of Rocko is that his wife Bev, a partier who enjoys nude sunbathing, rather likes Rocko and his friends. MORE
