Rock of Love with Bret Michaels

Rock of Love is a dating show on VH1 that follows a collection of contestants who compete for the heart of rockstar Bret Michaels, singer of Poison. The women compete in challenges; the prizes of each are dates with Bret. The challenges involve situations that are likely to arise in the event that the winner becomes Bret's girlfriend after the show, coping with his touring, life as a rockstar, hot groupies, living on a bus, keeping their cool around celebrities, and still be able to hang with the boys and inspire Bret's music. But to make it there, they have to survive not just the challenges, but the fights and backstabbing among themselves in the Hollywood mansion. At the end, only one will get backstage with Bret to be his rockstar girlfriend. Rock of Love led to spinoffs Daisy of Love with contestant Daisy DeLaHoya, Charm School, where many of the girls worked to improve their attitudes, Megan wants a Millionaire with Megan Hauserman, as well as the later season Rock of Love Bus. Some of the contestants earned notoriety from the show, including winners Jess, Ambre, and Taya, as well as runners-up Brandi and Heather, who appeared on later seasons to help Bret as his friend.
