Roar is a fantasy TV series developed by Shaun Cassidy that focuses on Conor (Heath Ledger), a young Irish-Celt, in the year 400 CE. Conor has had a relatively rough life under the harsh and enforced rule of the Romans. Once a prince of a freed clan of Celts, now the twenty-year-old leads a rabble of fellow displaced natives, including a young novice of a magician named Tully (Alonzo Greer), a beautiful and jaded former slave named Catlin (Vera Farmiga), and winsome guardian named Fergus (John Saint Ryan), as they fight the injustice of their people in the hopes of uniting the separated and defeated Celtic tribes.
