Roadtrip Nation

Roadtrip Nation is a PBS television series (and grassroots movement) that lets young people and students travel across America to interview men and women who have become leaders in their own ways and who have inspired others. Its first season aired in 2004. The show formulated as an idea between four friends in 2001 fresh out of college: Mike, Nathan, Brian and Amanda. They decided to get an old RV, paint it green and travel the country looking for inspiring people to interview. They realized that every young person wants to know what they'll do with their own lives, so they decided to go and ask others who have done what they have wanted to do within their life! The young travellers in Roadtrip Nation interview entertainers, entrepreneurs, artists and scientists; all who have not given in to conformity and have become successful by going their own way. The show is as free spirited and adventurous as its young travellers themselves are! It has lasted seven seasons so far. MORE
