Ren & Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon is the uncontrollably funny rebirth of the hit Nickelodeon adult cartoon, reprized by Spike TV (formerly TNN) with heavier male oriented themes. 6 years after Ren & Stimpy was canceled by Nickelodeon in 1996 (4 years after show creator John Kricfalusi was fired) Kricfalusi returned to helm the hit gross-out animated series, about a manic depressive chihuahua Ren and his baffoon cat best friend Stimpy, with more creative control. Though the show was no stranger to controversy, as it often featured grotesque violence and eerie surreal images, the new adult party cartoon took these elements and pumped them up for an older heavily male audience, as well as adding several bits on sexuality and eroticism (as seen in episode "Naked Beach Frenzy").
