Religion & Ethics Newsweekly is a unique newsmagazine that specializes in covering the latest developments in religion from around the world. Since 1997, the show has been hosted by journalist Bob Abernathy. Correspondents include Saul Gonzalez, Fred de Sam Lazaro, Tim O'Brien, Deborah Potter, Betty Rollin, Lucky Stevenson and Judy Valente and managing editor Kim Lawton. Religion & Ethics Newsweekly shoots its segments on location across the globe, while various contributors gather at the show's studio in Washington, DC for roundtable discussions. Other awards bestowed on the program include The Cracie Allen Award, The Chicago TV Fest Award, and the CINE Golden Eagle Award.
