Relapse is the A&E reality series that follows sober coaches who are trying to help high-risk addicts to stop their cycle of relapse. The series is from the Emmy-Award winning producers of A&E's Intervention, the acclaimed series where families confront addicts and stage an intervention. Now we join in for the rest of the process of fighting addiction, looking at the work of sober coaches as they help these addicts who are trying to fight their disease. The emotionally charged series follows leading sober coaches who are on a mission to help addicts, and it isn't an easy process. Over 50% of addicts who get sober turn back to their habit and relapse, and can continue over multiple tries to get sober. The cycle of relapse requires the individualized attention of expert coaches, who have the knowledge and experience to help these addicts who are often looking for a last resort in their fight. Each episode follows two sober coaches as they work with addicts, going through painful withdrawals, personal challenges, and rebuilding relationships.
