Recipe for Success is a show that diverts from the common offerings provided by the Food Network. Each week, host Eric McLendon takes you on a half hour tour of what it's like to be a normal person who wants to get into the food industry. They usually do not have much professional training, but their family and friends love what they make and they think they have what it takes to commercialize what they serve in their own kitchens. It's a lot of fun to watch moms, dads, and single adults who enjoy cooking for themselves to take their favorite recipe and wow the people at Food Network. It's reality TV with a twist - never before has a food show gone this down to earth, and it's refreshing to watch.
