Real Time with Bill Maher

Real Time with Bill Maher is an HBO talk show hosted by the eponymous political satirist and stand-up comedian. This acclaimed series features discussion of the day's hottest issues by Maher and an ever-changing cast of correspondents and guests appearing either in person or via satellite. Each episode opens with a brief comedy skit highlighting a current event, followed by an opening monologue from Maher. Maher is unabashed about his personal left-leaning political views, but he makes a point of presenting all sides of the issues on his show and allowing spokespeople from both sides of every topic. Bill Maher previously hosted Politically Incorrect on ABC and Comedy Central. On Real Time, he has hosted such guests as Richard Dawkins, Michael Moore, Kathy Griffin, and Michael Pollan.
