Rate My Space is an interactive home improvement television show on HGTV. Unlike in other home improvement shows, where the interior designers and the show's participants are the only ones with any say, Rate My Space gives all of its viewers the chance to vote on what designs they liked, and did not like, online so that more popular design elements and styles may be featured more often and less popular ones less often. Designer Angelo Surmelis comes in and helps homeowners make over one room in their house, based on aspects that they liked from three different rooms on the Rate My Space website. Once the show is over, the resulting design from that room is posted online, and the show continues!
