Random 1

Random 1 is a US-based reality TV series that aired on the A&E cable television network from 2005 - 2006. The series follows a group of good Samaritans, John Chester and Andre Miller who travel America looking for everyday people who needed help solving their own everyday problems. The rules were that the people they help have to be complete strangers; they were also not allowed to spend any money while doing their good deed and the good deed must be completed within one day. Each episode found the good Samaritans helping two strangers. To allow the Samaritans to spend more time with those they were trying to help, they are supported by a street team of producers. The producers follow the do-gooders in an Internet equipped RV. Once a deed has been determined, they go to work contacting any and all local resources who would be willing to help complete the good deed. MORE
