Ramsay's Best Restaurant

Ramsay's Best Restaurant is the BBC America series where notorious and world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay travels Britain to challenge his favorite restaurants. Ramsay puts his favorites in head-to-head competition each week, basing his choices on eight different culinary categories. The series bring together restaurants from around the country to compete for the Ramsay's Best Restaurant title, with over 12,000 entries submitted by viewers. Ramsay narrowed the pool down to 16, and started the first stage of the competition, where eight pairs of restaurants competed against other restaurants of the same type of cuisine. This quarter-final round had the restaurants cook for thirty guests who all ordered their meal at once, and they need to serve each guest a complete menu in two hours or they are eliminated. Whoever wins these battles moves on to the semi finals, where judges Ramsay, Angela Hartnett, and Simon Davis surprise the restaurant by showing up for a meal. Two move on for the finals in Petrus, Ramsay's London restaurant, where they will cook for chefs, previously eliminated restaurants, and more.
