Raffles

Raffles is an engaging and sophisticated British drama series about the career and exploits of A.J. Raffles (Anthony Valentine). A world-class cricketer and cosmopolitan man, Raffles is also a brilliant thief who has stolen millions of pounds of cash and jewels from Britain's wealthiest citizens. Raffles' partner in crime is "Bunny" Manders (Christopher Stauli), a school buddy who loyally follows Raffles through a series of ridiculous and life-threatening escapades. Raffles and Manders must constantly evade Scotland Yard's Inspector Mackenzie (Victor Carin), an experienced sleuth who is usually hot on their trail. For Raffles, stealing from the rich is simply another game; it's a high-stakes version of cricket in which a single misstep may cost him his very life. Audiences can't help but love the devilish Raffles, who is as charming as he is cunning.
