Quiero Mis Quinces

Quiero Mis Quinces is a reality television program on MTV Tr3s, produced by MTV Networks Latin America. The program follows around a group of teens that are preparing for their "quinceanera," or 15th birthday. This birthday is important in Latin American cultures as it signifies a "coming of age" for young women. The show is similar in format and content to MTV's popular My Super Sweet 16 program. The show follows the family and friends of the girl who is preparing for her quinceanera, from choosing a dress, picking a venue for the event, deciding on who is attending, and what is to be included for the banquet itself. At the end of the program, viewers get to watch the lavish ceremony go down, which usually results in a festive party full of friends, family, food and of course, fun. The theme song for the show is called "Quiero Mis Quinces," performed by the chilean pop group Kudai. MORE
