Quick Draw McGraw

Quick Draw McGraw is a 70's Hanna-Barbera comedy cartoon featuring a humanoid horse by the name of Quick Draw McGraw who serves as a sheriff in what appears to be a town in the Old West. Quick Draw is very rarely seen without his trusty sidekick and faithful deputy, Baba Looey, who often cautions him against certain acts of lunacy typical of Quick Draw, leading the viewer to believe that Quick Draw is not as brainy as his sidekick. The contrast in intelligence between Quick Draw and Baba Looey is one of the shows main sources of humor. It is implied that Quick Draw is American by his accent, (a possible parody of the stereotypical tough-as-nails American cowboy due to his bumbling nature) whereas Baba Looey speaks as if he was of Mexican descent. Quick Draw also maintains the alias "El Kabong" a parody of Zorro. In his "El Kabong" form, he fights villains with a guitar, a child-friendly substitute of Zorro's sword, while screaming his alias.
