Pros vs. Joes is a sports reality game show TV series developed by Spike TV that centers on the competition in a variety of athletic feats between a team of amateurs, the Average Joes, and a team of professional athletes, the Professionals. Hosted initially by Petros Papadakis and now by Michael Strahan and Jay Glazer, the Average Joes, comprised of men from all sorts of amateur regular walks of life, compete in athletic trials of the particular sport the Professionals had reigned in as professional athletes. From facing World Wrestling Entertainment heavyweights, Major League Baseball powerhouses, National Basketball Association's high jumpers, and National Football League tacklers, Pros vs. Joes shows whether those Joes have what it takes to come up against the big leagues and win. Can they even match up to Steve 'Air' McNair, a 3-time Pro-Bowl quarterback, or defend against fifteen-year NBA veteran Ron Harper?
