Project Blue Earth SOS is a Japanese-style animated ("anime") series originally aired on Japanese television in 2006. The plot of the show begins in the year 1995, when an experimental fighter plane disappears mysteriously in a ray of rainbow light. The experimental plane was using new G-Reactive technology and the cause of its disappearance remains unknown. Five years pass before a new bullet train utilizing the same G-Reactive technology disappears in the same way in a mysterious rainbow light. This event is witnessed by Billy Kimura and Penny Cater, who get involved in an interplanetary plot that begins with the invasion of aliens on earth. Somehow related to the G-Reactive technology and the mysterious light and disappearances, the two attempt to save the world with the help of scientists and a new fighter plane, known as the Sky Night that is hoped to be able to defend Earth. What unfolds is a retro-futuristic adventure about securing the planet's future.MORE
