Prey is a WB science fiction series starring Debra Messing, Adam Storke, and Larry Drake in a story about a scientist who uncovers a genetic difference between normal humans and criminal humans, revealing a terrifying truth—the human race is going extinct as this aggressive species spreads and takes over. Messing plays Dr. Sloan Parker, an anthropologist whose mentor discovers genetic variation between typical humans and deadly criminals. Genetically, the difference between the two types of people is as significant as the difference between normal humans and chimpanzees. This new breed of human, called Dominants, realize their power over the inferior species, throwing the natural balance of human society off its axis.
