Pit Boss

Pit Boss is a television reality show on Animal Planet about four friends and business associates taking on the trials and tribulations of dealing with stereotypes. Set in Los Angeles, Pit Boss follows Shorty Rossi, a former actor turned pit bull rescuer, and what he calls his Òpit crew;Ó Ashley, Ronald, and Sebastian. What do they all have in common? They are little people with big love for the underdog of dogs Ð pit bulls. Each episode starts with a phone call regarding a stray or escaped pit bull situation. Shorty and his crew set out to rescue the dog in hopes of rehabbing it and finding it a new home. They're a hundred percent devoted to the misunderstood breed and when they aren't saving animals they're managing a Hollywood talent company, Shortywood Productions. While Shorty may be small, he has large aspirations and an even larger sense of humor. But when goals aren't met or a pit bull rescue goes south, Shorty has a quick temper. While the show is about saving pit bulls, it ultimately harps on the connections and similarities we have with the animals and people we love. MORE
