Phil Of The Future

Phil of the Future is a sitcom on the Disney Channel about teenager Phil Diffy (Ricky Ullman) and his family, who are on a time traveling vacation from the year 2121 and get stuck in the year 2004. The Diffys must keep their identities secret and Phil and his sister Pim (Amy Bruckner) readjust to their new environment, Phil having the benefit of a new best friend in neighbor Keely (Alyson Michalka). Phil and Keely navigate high school life try to fit in as all teenagers do, but the Diffy’s have the added effort of concealing the fact that they are from 117 years in the future. The Vice Principal at Phil’s school, Neil Hackett, is the Diffy’s main challenge as someone who is always suspicious and tries to discover their secret origin. Phil of the Future is a family comedy and the characters go through comical experiences of everyday life, but sometimes encounter elements that set them apart as a futuristic family, such as Pim’s friend Debbie, who turns out to be a cyborg from the future.
