Persons Unknown was a 2010 dramatic television show created by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie). It was about a diverse group of strangers (Janet Cooper, Joe Tucker, Moira Doherty, Sergeant Graham McNair, Tori Fairchild, Bill Blackham and Charlie Morse) who all find themselves in a deserted ghost town in the desert with no idea as to how they ended up there. They are unable to leave, as security cameras are watching their every move and microphones are recording what they say. Physical and psychological challenges are forced upon the hostages by their mysterious and unknown captors (known as 'The Program'). Meanwhile a reporter is on the hunt, trying to track down the missing people, while being intimated at every step by the mysterious controllers.
