The Painter of the Wind

The Painter of the Wind is a romantic drama TV series developed for SBS that centers on Shin Yoon Bok (Moon Geun Young), a talented painter in her own right, who has to disguise herself as a man in order to discover the truth behind her father's death. Kang Soo Hang (Yoon Joo Sang) and Seo Jing (Han Jung Soo) had been talented and learned painters within Dohwaseo, the established Academy of Painting, when Kang Soo Hang was commissioned to paint the portrait of the crown prince of the Joseon Dynasty. But when Kang Soo Hang, Seo Jing, and Seo Jing's wife are found murdered with the young daughter missing, the scandal and rumors of a murderous conspiracy continues to build for years. History seems to repeat itself when a master painter, Kim Hong Do (Park Shin Yang), and his exceptionally talented apprentice Shin Yoon Bok are tasked in a bid to find Kang Soo Hang's missing painting.
