Pageant Place is a show on MTV that follows pageant winners from the Miss Universe Organization pageants, including Miss USA Rachel Smith, Miss Teen USA 2006 Katie Blair, later replaced by Miss Teen USA Miss Universe Riyo Mori, all living together in an apartment in New York under the guidance of Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner. Even though they are the girls that have been judged to represent beauty, poise, and elegance, they aren’t without their flaws, and Tara and Katie have a history involving a falling out, so their cohabitation proves to be a little awkward. Aside from the dynamic of the girls, they all must deal with appearances and duties of being a pageant queen. Tara and Katie clear up the bad blood between them, just as its time for Katie to hand over her crown to Hilary as the next Miss Teen USA. But even peaceful relationships are always changing, and in between photoshoots and travel, the girls try to display the traits they’ve won international titles for having, as well as looking beautiful and being well-dressed.MORE
