Outer Space Astronauts is a space-themed comedy television series on Syfy. Traveling through space on the O.S.S. Oklahoma, the show's characters wind up in unexpected situations while traveling the universe. The show utilizes a unique animation technique that features live-action "real" heads on top of digitally-produced, animated bodies within an artificial environment. Created by Russell Barret, who plays the ship's captain Bruce Ripley, the show follows the crew of eight on their wild adventures against evil. The animation style has been positively received, as Barret worked painstakingly for over a year creating the style in his basement before approaching networks with his show idea. The witty, original comedy features Adam Clinton, Stephanie Clinton, Benjamin Nurick, Laura Valdivia, Stephen Millunzi, Dana Kirk, Jacey Margolis, Anthony Bravo, Pete Burns, Jay Wendorff, Rob Delaney and Trent Lewis.
