Oprah's Big Give

Oprah's Big Give is a reality television show in which ten contestants are given a large amount of money and travel across the country helping people in different ways. The contestants should try to help people in unique ways, ways that will help them now and in the future. The contestants will also participate in a series of challenges to decipher who will be America's next unknown philanthropist. Contestants travel to a different state in each one hour-long episode. They are given some money and an assignment. The assignment may be team based, or individually completed. Contestants either are told to help a specific person or organization, or they must go out on their own and help someone. After they acquire their cause, they can then try to raise additional money to reach their goal. Each episode, one person will go home. At the end of each season, the winner is awarded one million dollars split up into $500,000 for themselves, and $500,000 to give away. MORE
