Once Upon A Prom

Once Upon A Prom is an MTV reality series that follows teenagers preparing for the most important night of their high school career- prom. As they deal with nerves, limousines, outfits, and of course, the perfect date, MTV will be there to watch- and make some prom dreams come true. The 2007 edition follows Alex of Atlanta High School and Richard of Jefferson High School as they prepare to attend their senior proms alone. Richard is ready to look sharp and roll up to prom solo, but MTV has prepared a date for him- none other than pop star Rihanna! Forget the nerves of going to prom with the girl from Calculus, Richard needs to keep his cool with an international superstar as his date. Alex has gotten ready to go to prom without her long-term boyfriend, who can’t afford to supply the perfect prom. But who shows up as her date? None other than Bobby Valentino! In the 2008 edition, 40 senior single boys will submit video proposals for Taylor Swift to choose them as their prom date so she can experience the high school dance she was too busy launching her music career to attend. Every type of guy wants to be Taylor’s date, and although she’s been on the road nonstop, a day off from her tour with Rascal Flatts is the perfect opportunity to attend a high school prom.
