O'Grady

O'Grady is a TV show from Canadian based young adult channel The N and is their first original animated series. O'Grady is the name of the town and high school where four friends are coping with the presence of a mysterious element called "The Weirdness,"an entity that causes chaos throughout the town, destroying the normalcy and dignity of everyone and everything in its path. The phenomenon has become standard fare for the students at O'Grady High, though anywhere else it would most certainly turn heads. Every episode reflects on the humorous situations that the Weirdness causes for students Beth, Kevin, Abby, and Harold. Beth is an activist and vegetarian, always informing people of stories and causes- usually incorrect in her retelling as a gullible and forgetful, yet charming girl. Abby aspires to popularity but would never ditch her real friends, a conflict similar to her academic skills versus her social calendar. Kevin executes a series of schemes that he's sure will take him to the top- of what exactly, he's not sure, and they usually fall a little short, so he holds on to his small victories. Harold is only held back from being cool and getting the ladies by trying so hard to do so, and he's got to learn how to relax before it can all happen for him. In addition to dealing with their "normal" adolescent lives, living is O'Grady assures that their lives will never lack, well, weirdness. MORE
