Novel Adventures

Novel Adventures is a web series from CBS Interactive, starring Daphne Zuniga, Paola Turbay, Ashley Williams, and Jolie Jenkins. In the web series, Laura French (Daphne Zuniga), Amy Pierson (Jolie Jenkins), Joanna Ruiz (Paola Turbay), and Lizzie McKenzie (Ashley Williams) are four Los Angeles women who, despite living in sunny southern California near all of the Hollywood glitz and glamour, find their lives fairly lackluster. To add in some extra assignment, they join a book club and delve into the adventures of the book's protagonists. Unlike most book club members, however, these four ladies do not leave the book behind after the discussion is over. Instead, they decide to live out some of the adventures, going fishing, learning surfing, taking spontaneous vacations, and so on. Novel Adventures is about taking advantage of the moment and seizing the day, rather than just thinking about how nice it would be if something exciting would happen. MORE
