Noein is the story of Haruka (voiced by Melissa Fahn), modern-day teen trapped between the warring alternate futures of La'Cryma and Shangir'la, both seeking the Dragon Torque. 15 Years in the future, the seemingly idyllic Shangri'la invades the desolate world of La'Cryma. La'Cryma dispatches the dragon knights to the past to retrieve the Dragon Torque, an object with the power to stabilize all of space-time, or destroy it. Karasu (voiced by Crispin Freeman), one of the Dragon Knights, involves Haruka and her friend Yuu (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal), when he tells them he is Yuu from the future trying to protect Haruka, believing her to have the Dragon Torque. To save La'Cryma they must defend Haruka against Noein (voiced by Richard Epcar) the leader of Shangri'la.
