Night Stalker is the ABC sci-fi drama that follows investigative reporter Carl Kolchak (Stuart Townsend), a crime reporter whose wife was murdered. Eighteen months earlier, Carl was attacked on a deserted highway and was left injured but alive, though his wife wasn't so lucky. He is determined to find out who was responsible for her murder, and spends his time investigating other murders that have had strange and paranormal circumstances. Carl works for the L.A. Beacon newspaper, and believes in the supernatural, though his partner Perri Reed is skeptical, providing a rational outlook on the cases. As Carl works out the details of these strange murders, he starts finding pieces to the puzzle that seem to be related to the death of his wife. As he tries to piece it together, it only gets more complicated.
