NCIS

NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is an action drama series created by CBS as a spin-off to its long-running series, JAG that focuses on the complex and humorous dynamics of a team of special agents investigating crimes with ties to the Navy or Marine Corps. Leading this diverse group of agents is NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a man of few words who relies on his gut instinct as much as he does the evidence. A former Marine, Gibbs is one of the best investigators and interrogators out there, a fact that allows him to get away with bending the rules, despite the director's no-nonsense attitude. Special Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) acts as his second-in-command, though this ex-homicide detective acts more like a movie-quoting frat boy than Dirty Harry. NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) is an MIT graduate that is a bit more technology oriented than Gibbs and DiNozzo combined, though it allows him more face time with the eclectic and loveable Goth forensic specialist, Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette). Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), a former Mossad agent who has proven her worth to Gibbs enough to make it count, and Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), the all-knowing and forever talking medical examiner, round out the rest of this well-oiled machine of a team.
