Nashville is a documentary-soap, set in Nashville, Tennessee, that aired on Fox for two episodes before its cancellation. The show is about the lives of those in Nashville’s thriving music industry, from the powerful record producers to the hopeful aspiring singers and songwriters. The bright young cast members are painfully close to having all of their wildest dreams come true, but will they ever get closer? Or will they be stuck in the almost-but-not-quite zone, as far as success in the music industry goes? Matt Jenkins, a musician in search of a new record label after recently being dropped from his previous label; Rachel Bradshaw, a Belmont University junior with big dreams; Sarah Gunsolus, Rachel’s best friend who houses ambitions of using the city’s social scene to get onto the music scene; Mika Combs, a Kentucky native with a big voice and even bigger dreams; Lindsey Hager and Jeff Allen, aspiring singer/songwriters; and several more share their journeys with viewers all across the United States of America.
