Naruto

Naruto is the Cartoon Network anime series based on the manga about the young ninja Naruto Uzumaki, who aspires to become a Hokage, the one acknowledged as the leader and strongest ninja in his his village. When Naruto was a newborn, his village was attacked by a Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, which was defeated and sealed inside Naruto. He was never supposed to know, until a fight to protect his teacher Iruka, when he used his Justsu ability, a supernatural technique to make multiple close of himself. Along with his two friends Sasuke Uchuha and Sakura Haruno, they form a ninja team called Team 7. When criminal Orochimaru attacks and kills the Third Hokage, it is revealed that he wants to use Sasuke for his powerful genetics. When Sasuke goes to Orochimaru in search of power to defeat his brother Itachi, Tsunade sends Naruto to try to get him back, but he fails and goes into training. A mysterious organization called Akatsuki is trying to capture the nine tailed beasts, inlcuding the one inside Naruto, and the ninjas fight against them and search for Sasuke. Akatsuki captures seven of the creatures, but Team 7 manages to save Gaara who contains the One-Tailed beast. This action-packed anime series was followed up by the ongoing sequel Naruto: Shippuden.
