Nanny 911 is a reality show that originally aired on FOX and deals with families who cannot control their children. Like ABC's Supernanny, Nanny 911 features nannies who are called in to help unhappy and uncontrollable children. Unlike Supernanny, Nanny911 is hosted by several nannies, each of whom has a specialty. Each episode begins with Head Nanny Lilian (Lilian Sperling) deciding which of her nannies, Nanny Deb (Deborah Carroll), Nanny Stella (Stella Reid), or Nanny Yvonne (Yvonne Shove and later Yvonne Finnerty), to send to the family in need based on the talents of each nanny. Once the chosen nanny arrives at the family's house, she spends a day or two observing the children and the adults' parenting styles. She then devises a plan with the parents to get the children on the track to good behavior. The rest of the week is spent working on the nanny's plan and teaching the children to behave in appropriate ways. In earlier episodes of Nanny 911, the family is presented with a gift at the end of the week. In later seasons, the nanny simply congratulates them on being able to train their kids successfully. Families are typically approved for Nanny 911 if they have more than five children, though smaller families have been featured on occasion. Some families that have appeared on the show are the Delaney family, the Moore family, the Lorimor family, and the Elgin family. In 2008, CMT bought the rights to Nanny 911 from FOX.MORE
