Naked Science

Naked Science is a documentary television series that focuses on investigating scientific ideas through science lab experiments with input from experts in the field. Premiering on the National Geographic Channel in 2004, the program, which boasts over 80 45-minute episodes, tackles a range of technological and scientific inquiries, including killer asteroids, time machines and the death of the universe. The series presents esoteric ideas in relevant, digestible ways, making it perfect for the casual scientist in everyone who has always wondered about anything from the center of the earth to the birth of our solar system. Clear narration by Eric Meyers is complemented with dazzling visualizations and computer-generated images in order to make intangible concepts, from the infinite to the infinitesimal, real and palpable. Not every episode relates to the cosmos - episodes have covered some topics such as the Bermuda Triangle, the birth of America and the anatomy of a hurricane.
