My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen 2 is the sequel to the teen horror slasher film My Super Psycho Sweet 16. MTV debuted their show My Super Sweet 16 in 2005, showcasing some seriously over-the-top birthdays and coming of age parties. These wealthy kids want their parties to be exactly how they imagine, and their parents usually let them get whatever they want. Money is no object as these kids get lavish parties featuring performers like Bow Wow, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, as well as getting cars, jewelry, and other extravagant gifts. The show became a hit for MTV, and in 2009 Jacob Gentry directed a teen slasher film based on the series. What happens when the birthday celebration of a lifetime turns violently bad? In these films, we find out. In the first installment, we follow two girls, the outcast Skye (Lauren McKnight), and the spoiled Madison (Julianna Guill). Madison is planning her birthday and wants to have it at the closed down Roller-Dome. The Roller-Dome has been closed for a decade because of some grisly murders at the skating rink, but Madison somehow convinces her parents to reopen it. When the killer returns to the scene of the crime 10 years later during her party, things get bloody. In the sequel, we join Skye as she leaves town to try to find a normal life after the murders, reuniting with the mother who abandoned her as a child. Things don't stay normal very long. See if Skye survives another chapter in My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen 2.MORE
