My Life as a Teenage Robot

My Life as a Teenage Robot is an animated TV series created by Rob Renzetti for Nickelodeon that chronicles the life of XJ-9, or Jenny as she likes to call herself, who just so happens to be a state-of-the-art battle robot. Technically, Jenny is only five years old but her programming is designed to give her the personality of a sensitive 16-year-old girl. All Jenny wants to be is a normal girl, if a six-foot tall metallic automaton could ever be considered normal. Decked out with every type of weapon, device, and transformations a battle robot could need, Jenny would rather live the life of a friendly and optimistic teenager than act as Earth's protector, which she finds to be a rather dull job. She finds some solace in her best friend Brad, who can't get a girlfriend if his life depended on it, develops a rivalry with the popular Crust Cousins, Brit and Tiff, and becomes the object of affection to a socially awkward Sheldon. And of course, she's constantly being pursued by the Cluster Empire, an all-robotic world, whose Queen Vexus, voiced by the infamous Eartha Kitt, wants to rid liberate robot kind from servitude.
