Murder

Murder is a reality television series that aired on Spike TV for just one season, but it is worth watching every episode as it is controversial and unlike anything done before. Two teams, picked at random and comprised of average people, compete in solving a real murder case. They have 48 hours to investigate the crime scene, and any other information they might have access to. After the allotted time is up, the teams are approached by detective Tommy Le Noir, who consults them and asks them to explain their findings. Once each team has given their respective answer, Detective Le Noir explains what really happened, and then determines who wins by identifying which team was closest to the truth. The prize is money towards the victim's charity. The show originally aired at 10pm but was quickly switched to a midnight spot as it centered around frightening, gruesome content not suitable for underage children.
