MTV Video Music Awards

The MTV Video Music Awards, or VMAs, is an annual star-studded award ceremony honoring the year's best in hot music videos. Produced by a network that used to air them, MTV, the night always promises to be a "must see" as movie stars, musicians and comedians collide in one night to honor the music video industry. Originally established in the mid 1980's, the VMA's have continued to be a crazed night of wild celebrity antics ever since. From Kanye West's 2009 "I'ma let you finish" butt in on Taylor Swift, to Madonna and Britney Spears making out in 2004, it's sure to be a pop culture lover's pleasure center. And who could forget about the show stopping performances sprinkled about the night. So Lady Gaga will probably be there dressed as some sort of futuristic robot slave, and Jay Z will definitely be shaking it on stage with Beyonce even though he's retired.
