Cribs is MTV's take on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, with each episode featuring tours of spectacular celebrity homes. The celebrity owners lead the tours, providing insight into how they spend their free time, where they work, and who else is around to enjoy their luxurious homes. These stunning mansions often include state-of-the-art entertainment systems, ornate furniture and art, game rooms and professional workspaces, custom pools, and gigantic bedrooms. Since first airing in 200, Cribs has featured over 185 celebrities-typically musicians, actors, and athletes. Celebrities featured include 50 Cent, Carmelo Anthony, Jason Schwartzman, Gene Simmons, Missy Elliott, and Alanis Morissette. Cribs has aired for 17 seasons, becoming one of MTV's most iconic programs to date. Cribs spawned one spin-off, Teen Cribs, a similarly-formatted show that focuses on non-celebrity teens living in extravagant homes. In 2009 the series moved to CMT, where it now focuses on the country music lifestyle.
