Monica: Still Standing is the BET reality series that follows R&B star Monica as she returns from her music hiatus to take on the music world once more. Monica was extremely successful, starting her career as the youngest R&B act to have two consecutive chart-topping singles, as well as working as an actress. In BET's docu-drama, Monica opens hear life to viewers to follow her journey of survival and enlightenment, juggling her family life, her troubled past, her own body and health issues, raising two young sons, while also recording her fifth album and doing the press and appearances that come with that. Monica works with her manager and cousin Melinda, as well as songwriter and record producer Bryan Michael Cox to try to find a hit single, and she is joined by guests like Jermaine Dupri, Timbaland, and Soulja Boy Tell 'Em.
