Max Steel is a computer generated animated series that originally ran on the WB from February 2000 to January 2002. The show is centered on Jim McGrath, a typical high school kid that stumbles into a freak accident, thereby changing his life forever. Jefferson Smith, Josh’s adopted father works at an extreme sports equipment manufacturing company that is cover for the secret intelligence agency N-Tek. One night, evil agents commanded by Psycho break into N-Tek and come face to face with Josh. Outmatched, Josh loses to fight, and becomes exposed to a high amount of microscopic nanomachines that enter his body. The nanomachines become a part of Josh’s being, so much so that he has to intake a daily dose of transphasic energy (“t-juice”) to feed the machines. As a result of the whole event, Josh assumes the identy of Max Steel, vowing to fight the super-powered villains controlled by Mr. Dread (Psycho’s boss) and the rest of the Spy organization.MORE
