Matched in Manhattan, which airs on the Lifetime network, stars Matt Titus as a 'dating agent.' In hopes of a blossoming romance, Titus' job is to find eligible singles and match them up. Working as part of a team (which includes his wife, Tamsen Fadal), Titus helps people find love in usual and skillfully crafted ways. With his humorously harsh opinions of the physical appearance of each of his clients, he coaches them on their way to dating success. Titus' uses his trademark 'matt-isms' to give dating advice to both heterosexual and homosexual romance seekers. His quirky catch phrases are tools to help remember what not to do or say on a first date, second date, or even in bed. The show's fast pace continues throughout each of the episodes, both in Titus' professional life and when the audience gets a peak into his personal drama with Fadal. Airing for only one season, Matched in Manhattan was poorly received by critics and was not renewed.MORE
