Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force is a docu-reality crime television series from A&E. This specialized task force was mandated by U.S. Congress after 9/11 to hunt down the worst of the worst, everyone from triple-homicide felons to major international fugitives. They are the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. simply known as "manhunters." They are made up of federal, state and local agencies with the unique ability to transcend jurisdictions towards the common goal of catching violent criminals. Each episode follows these manhunters as they attempt to track down and apprehend these dangerous felons. Based in NYC, Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force is raw, gutty, and unscripted television. You will get to know these real-life Marshals by riding along with them as part of their unit, which catches 4,000 criminals a year or about 10 every day, making them the busiest unit in the country.
